[Lnc-business] Airfare matrix with alternative dates for Fall meeting

Thank you very much for that information, Ruth. I checked Orbitz a couple
of days ago and learned that flights from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.
were going to be pretty expensive no matter what (see attachment). The
difference between a non-stop flight for Nov. 16-18 versus Dec. 6-8 was
only about $41 (a one-stop was significantly cheaper -- but also
significantly longer).

However, upon further investigation a few minutes ago I discovered that I
can use my American Airlines reward miles to get free flights on either the
Nov. 30-Dec. 2 or Dec. 6-8 weekends, but *not* on the Nov. 16-18 weekend.
So it would save me almost $600 cash if we were to change the date of our
meeting.

While before I was fairly ambivalent, I suddenly have a burning desire to
change the date.
