Dear colleagues:

     I hope all is well with you.  Geoff Neale has requested a meeting 
of the LNC Executive Committee, to take place at 9:30 p.m. EST this 
evening (Monday, Jan. 28).  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss 
some legal aspects of the situation in Oregon.

     LNC members are welcome to attend the meeting via the following 
procedure:

*  Enter the access code 734293, followed by the # sign

     If I may request, please let me know via e-mail if you plan to 
attend the meeting, as it will make it easier for me to perform my 
duties as secretary (pro tem).
