[Lnc-business] MOTION - Meet at the free Las Vegas office space being offered by Brett Pojunis

Why, as a matter of fact, we do have the option of free space elsewhere.

However, I'm not going to vote on using Brett's space without knowing where
the office is. Is it close? Will I have to rent a car or get a taxi? I've
heard Vegas is quite large.

Geoff

Geoff,

I wouldn't mind, except that if it looks like people are going for
using Brett's space, then I will likely vote for Las Vegas myself on the
current motion, rather than abstaining. That being the case I'd rather put
it forward now rather than waiting, unless there's some really pressing
reason to wait.

Of course if we have the option of a free meeting space somewhere
else, that would put me back to neutral again.

Love & Liberty,
                                  ((( starchild ))) At-Large Representative,

excellent! Not having heard of any other free spaces being discussed in the
context of our summer meeting, I make the following motion and invite
co-sponsors:

meeting at the office space in the Las Vegas area being made available to us
at no cost by regional rep. Brett Pojunis.

I just set up an office that we could use for free and I have access to
venues we can use which would be very inexpensive.

awareness to the Party, that wouldn't be expensive and could yield
significant results.

prior to doing what we usually do. I will know in less than 10 days what
kind of deals I could put together. It might save us a lot of money, that's
all.

not consider $129.00 a night a "good rate" but that may just be me.

it's a short trip for me by car or plane. And I'm not planning on attending
Freedom Fest. But I recognize that it's an important enough event that an
LP presence is essential, especially since if offers a good fundraising
potential. We'll need to pay staff to be there, and several LNC members
want to attend, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to incur the cost of two
separate trips at different locations within two or three weeks of each
other. Accordingly I'm voting Yes on this motion, albeit somewhat
reluctantly.
