Please note that I received a copy of a self nomination to the Bylaws
Committee by one Nicholas Sarwark of Colorado.  I do not see his name on the
provided list.  I have attached a copy of this e-mail to this message, and
paste the qualifications provided below:

Sirs,

I would be honored to serve on the Bylaws Committee for the Libertarian
Party.  I have been active in the Libertarian party since 1999.  I have
attended every national convention since Anaheim in 2000 and have been
interested and engaged in the bylaws debates on the floor of the convention.
I have previously served on the Bylaws Committee that presented at the 2010
National Convention in St. Louis.

I currently serve on the Judicial Committee and have been on that committee
since 2004.  I have previously served as Chair of the Libertarian Party of
Maryland and currently serve as Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of
Colorado.

 

Outside of politics, I am a Deputy Public Defender in Colorado and have been
admitted to practice law since 2008.  I've tried over 25 cases to a jury and
argued in front of the Colorado Supreme Court (Tate v. People, 11SC382).  I
reside south of Denver with my wife and two children.

 

If selected to serve on the bylaws committee, my goals are to improve the
bylaws to make them clearer to the membership of the Libertarian Party,
resolve issues that have arisen in the past, and work toward a committee
report that is overwhelmingly accepted by the convention delegates in
Columbus.
