[Lnc-business] Zero Floor Fees Motion (Seeking Cosponsors)

Mr. Vohra,

I will kindly ask that you hold off on this moment until we have an
opportunity to at least discuss this. Since there has been a lot of
discussion, on this issue I do feel it would be prudent to first get some
of the positions from other board members.

Most states in my region would like a floor fee as they feel it is
necessary to have members incur the expenses associated with the convention
in lieu of hurting the financial condition of the LNC. Adversely, one State
chair has suggested that we should not have any floor fees. Therefore, I
would like to suggest a compromise. Personally I feel there should be a
floor fee at the convention and it should cover the direct costs associated
with participating as I do not know exactly that the cost per delegate is
(binders, refreshments, etc.) I would suggest $20-$35 as a fair compromise.
 This is coming from a guy that is now going to have to pay an additional
$375 that I dont have to make sure I can get to the Dallas meeting.

In addition, I would like to make a motion where we have Convention
"tickets" available with the other membership levels that would include
this to increase awareness of the convention and hopefully many people will
sign up for the $25 membership plus the convention ticket.

Therefore please consider a lower floor fee and I encourage good
conversation about it.
