[Lnc-business] status of Illinois petition drive

This first link just indicates that complaints have been made to the IL
Attorney General about the intimidation tactics used in Illinois. "Looking
into it" is a far cry from filing charges, but it could be a first step in
that direction...maybe.

Even though the SOS decided that the LP of Illinois had enough signatures
to make the ballot (squeaked by with 989 to spare), the GOP isn't letting
it go. They are now trying to overturn the decision of the SOS that the LP
had qualified. Here are a couple of editorials on the subject by a guy who
is former general counsel for the Illinois Republican Party and is current
chair of the Illinois Constitution Party.

Attached is a copy of the appeal of the SOS decision. I think it's
interesting to see the grounds on which such challenges are made.
