Dear colleagues:

I hope all is well with you. I am writing to provide you with a
few items of information.

1) In a separate message I shall cast my vote in favor of the motion by
Mr. Neale.

2) Yesterday I had the honor of participating in the conventions of the
Libertarian Party of North Carolina and the Libertarian Party of
Maryland. Both conventions were very nice, and I greatly appreciate the
hospitality I received in Durham and Dundalk, respectively.

Please join me in congratulating our colleague Arvin Vohra on his
receiving the Samuel Chase Award from the Libertarian Party of Maryland
yesterday. If I understand correctly, this is the highest honor
bestowed by the LPMD. From what I could tell, there was consensus that
Mr. Vohra is richly deserving of the award.

3) Please join me in congratulating our colleague Bill Redpath on his
nomination to serve as the Libertarian Party of Virginia candidate for
the U.S. House of Representatives in the 10th District. He received the
nomination yesterday afternoon during the 10th District convention.

As always, thanks for your work for liberty. I look forward to
seeing you in Columbus, if not before.

     Take care,
     Jim
