[Lnc-business] Executive Committee Conference Call - 7/24/14 @ 9:30 pm EST - NH Ballot Access

Gardner Goldsmith is the LP nominee for United States Senate.  He
needs 3,000 net signatures by August 8 to qualify for the ballot.  We
estimate that will require 5,000 raw signatures.  Bill Redpath has
identified a contractor in New England who can do the drive for $3 per
(total cost of $15K).  Mr. Goldsmith is committed to doing some
portion of fundraising himself, but will need somewhere between $5-10K
from the LNC.

Should Mr. Goldsmith get 4% in the general election, we would not need
to petition for ballot access in 2016.  This seems like a realistic
possibility, as Mr. Brown is a carpetbagger and not greatly liked in
new hampshire, and Senator Shaheen holds an approximately +10% lead in
early polling.  There is also the potential to receive endorsement
from the more conservative Republicans once they are knocked out of
the primary in September.
