[Lnc-business] Financial woes

I don't think Mr. Katz has had the "pleasure" of sitting thru an LNC Session
that takes up a full weekend.

After he has had that wonderful experience, I think he will see why we
almost always leave the hotel for lunch on Saturday.

This might sound like I am lazy, but I bet most past and present LNC members
would agree - it is hard work to pay attention to every word that is being
said, and to have to vote intelligently on motions every 20 minutes or so,
for 8 hours on a Saturday, and then 6 hours the following day.

Having a chance to actually go outside for lunch on Saturday is a feature,
not a bug.

On Sunday the LNC often has lunch in or adjacent to the meeting room,
because at that point there is a huge amount of interest in finishing our
business before we lose quorum due to LNC members having to leave for the
airport.

"As it turns out, I've pointed out a few times that I have located suitable
meeting facilities in every state and city that can be rented for a few
hundred dollars per day, with internet access and plenty of space, and is
available in most hotels - that is, a large suite. In most hotels, we'd
even have a kitchenette allowing us to not break for lunch, or to break only
briefly for lunch.

  Joshua Katz"
