Dear Mr. Sarwark:

I hope all is well with you and your family. I am writing in my
capacity as Region 5 representative to request that a discussion of LNC
goals for 2014 and the 2014-2016 term be included on the agenda for the
upcoming meeting. (I suspect that you are planning to include such a
discussion; I am sending this request just in case.)

Given the importance of the topic, I believe we should allocate at
least 60 minutes to the discussion; it may be appropriate to allocate at
least 90 minutes. I suggest that the discussion serve as the first item
on the agenda for Sunday morning. Another possibility we may wish to
consider is to conduct an informal discussion of goals and associated
strategies and tactics during a working lunch on Saturday (assuming that
we can make such an arrangement), and then conduct a formal discussion
on Sunday.

On the morning of July 2 I sent a message entitled "Discussion of
LNC goals for 2014 and the 2014-2016 term" to the LNC-Discuss list. Any
LNC member who wants to receive another copy of this message should
contact me.

Thanks for your work for liberty. I look forward to seeing you and
our colleagues at the meeting.

     Take care,
     Jim
