[Lnc-business] LP Logo Redesign

Some of our members think our current logo is suboptimal. 

 

 

Your average voter doesn't compare us to the Green or Constitution or
Socialist Parties; they compare us to the Democrats and the Republicans.

Two questions : 
What is wrong with our current logo? 
Why do you suggest only claiming to be superior to two parties, both of them
terrible? It's a rather narrow claim.

I don't even pretend to be a graphics designer, but how about something like
this for the Party's logo:

 

           L

 

                    D      R

 

 

This is a large L on top of a small D on the left, and a small R on the
right.

The obvious implication is that the Libertarian Party is superior to the
Democrats and the Republicans, without actually spelling out their names.

I am sure a good graphics designer can colorize and change the fonts to make
the above logo much better looking

than the very crude representation I came up with.
