I have never had the pleasure of attending a full LNC meeting, but
Starchild's comments (I assume everyone was copied on them) sound
reasonable to me, based on experience at other organizations. If reports
are available in written form prior to the meeting, the purpose of that is
usually, in my experience, precisely so that the report need not be read,
but instead can be quickly summarized - allowing more time to ask questions
(presumably, prepared in advance while reading the materials) and to make
appropriate motions to deal with what was reported (ditto.) As I said,
though, I haven't been to a full LNC meeting before.
