I like these … I’d strike DC since we recently had a meeting there.
1. Houston
2. Phoenix
4. Atlanta

Joshua…Walter is a personal friend and very close with our Executive Director Wendy Adams(who he keeps chiding to co author an article with him). When we initially began discussing having our party during the time the LNC meeting was here..We immediately asked Walter if he would be a speaker, as we have him speak for us often. Unfortunately, he is out of town on a prior engagement. Now say if we have future meetings in NOLA…its a possibility.

Atlanta offers the possibility of holding some event with Mises folks, or inviting them to attend. (By the way, Dan, have you let Walter Block know that the LNC is meeting in NO?)
After that, no real reason.
Cumulative voting may be useful for this (with alternates only getting half a vote or some such.)

In case you'd like staff to do some research in advance:
The weekend of March 21-22 might be a good one for a spring LNC meeting.
For avoiding winter weather, and some other special events, the following cities might work:
San Diego or Los Angeles
Houston
Atlanta
D.C. area (always cheapest because no staff travel expenses--we met in the D.C. area (Alexandria) twice in 2014)
Although it can be beneficial to have LNC meetings at potential convention sites, sometimes attendance of the tours has been quite low - in fact in Dallas recently we were begging people to go on the tour so we'd have a small group.
If we hear what sounds like a consensus on a place or two, we might be able to show up with a quote to the LNC meeting.
