[Lnc-business] Spring LNC mtg: San Diego, Houston, Atlanta, Alexandria

When I checked last year, of all Southwest Airlines airports, the one that
had the most destinations served by non-stops

was Las Vegas.

 

Assuming we want to be reasonably fair to all LNC Reps, you probably want to
have at least one LNC Session this term in the Pacific Time Zone.  Las Vegas
is in the Pacific Time Zone.

 

I am pretty sure we could agree in advance to extend the LNC Session to two
days if a majority of you prefer to do that.

 

Otherwise - we have gotten a hell of a lot of work done between 8am and 6pm
during those one-day LNC Sessions.  

 

Needless to say we would have lunch in, or adjacent to, the meeting room.

Meeting after Freedom Fest has advantages and disadvantages.

 

1>     Staff is often there already and saves costs.

2>     Those who attend Freedom Fest are already there.

3>     Unless the meeting schedules into Monday (implying loss of a work
day), it is a short one day meeting.

4>     For those who, such as myself, do not attend Freedom Fest,  incurring
the travel expense to Las Vegas for a short one day meeting is extreme.

 

I prefer an alternative.

I suggest that this weekend we first decide if we want to hold an LNC
Session in Las Vegas the day after Freedom Fest.  

If we decide to meet (or not to meet) in LV on that date, we can then work
backwards and set the March (or April) date.
