[Lnc-business] Fall/Winter meeting dates and location

All,

Vicki Kirkland has been in contact with the Rosen Centre, the site of
our May 2016 convention, about the possibility of having an LNC
meeting there in advance of the convention.  This would allow the many
members of the committee (myself included) who have not been to the
venue to see it prior to this coming May.

In her discussions with the hotel, they have offered a $95/night room
rate for the weekend of November 14-15, but indicated that the only
weekends they could make that rate available would be that one and the
weekend immediately following Thanksgiving (November 28-29).  After
that point, the hotel is in holiday season and the rates go up.

Before we have a mail ballot on the issue, I'd like to put it out to
the list for a discussion of the pros and cons of the proposed date
and venue versus any alternatives.
