[Lnc-business] Today's words of wisdom

The last place I would expect to read decent political advice is on the
fortune from a fortune cookie.

 

Nevertheless:  yesterday I bought some take-out Chinese food for lunch while
I was working at a client's imaging center.

 

The restaurant gave me one fortune cookie.  The fortune read:

 

 

   Management is doing things right.

 

   Leadership is doing the right things.

 

 

 

If you realize that Management is the  LNC, Inc.-Executive Director, and
Leadership is the LNC, that pretty much sums up what the division of labor
should be between us and Mr. Benedict.  

 

Or - to be more specific - the job of the leadership is to make sure that
the management is doing the right things.
