[Lnc-business] Republican Primary Ballots - too many candidates?

Richard Winger has an interesting chart in the August 1, 2015 issue of
Ballot Access News.

He notes that there are likely to be many states with at least 16 candidates
on the ballot in their 2016 Republican Presidential Primary. However, no
state legislature this year has made access to the presidential primary
ballot more difficult.

This proves that state legislatures don't really believe that ballots with
greater than a dozen candidates for a single office cause voter confusion.

This chart and his observation will be useful when the LP litigates to lower
the percentage needed to pass the vote test for ballot access retention in
states with percentages that are worse than 5% for any statewide office.

We do want to maximize the number of states where the Libertarian Party has
ballot access in December of even numbered years, don't we?
