If anyone wishes to donate to our former LP NY governor candidate Michael
McDermott who lost half his leg - his daughters are fundraising for a
prosthetic (done) and they now need funds to modify it and get the therapy
he needs so he can use it.

Happy Holidays everyone!

We saw this photo on Facebook asking for 9999 "Likes" and in a moment of
levity decided to post it.  Our dad only lost one leg so maybe 4999 "Likes?"

Seriously though, Dad received his new prosthetic leg last week and it
needs to be modified.  He still cannot walk because it hurts his leg very
much.  He needs additional physical therapy for a minimum of four weeks
which Fidelis has not approved.  We need to raise more funds through
donations to try and offset some of this cost immediately.  If you have
already donated we are all extremely grateful.  Without you we would not
have made it this far!  We do need to request a little more help so he can
get the needed therapy.  Please donate whatever you can so we might be able
to get him on both feet by the New Year.  If you prefer to mail a check to
his daughters, please make it payable to Michael McDermott and mail it to
them at 418 Lenox Road, Huntington Station, NY 11746.  Thank you for all
your help and we hope to stop imposing on all the kind hearted people who
