If the LP were a Real Political PartyT , then we would not be losing these
somewhat successful nominees to our competitors.
When you only win 2% of the elections you contest, it's hard to retain good
talent.
We can change this. Not by the end of the current 2 year election cycle,
but we can certainly stop this loss of blood by the end of this decade.

"I put a call into him. I believe it's the usual - he thinks he can win as a
Republican. He clearly has an unusual amount of support there given many top
officials in hte state GOP endorsed him as a Republican write-in candidate
for the GOP primary last year - and he won an astonishing 17% of the vote.
His campaign manager was a Republican who campaigned for the GOP candidate
in the previous gov. race.

Since we are the governing board of the Libertarian Party, I think we all
need to understand why our most successful Gubernatorial Nominee in 2014
left our Party to join the GOP.
