[Lnc-business] An example of a successful initiative/cause website

Mr. Chair,

I have seen success with initiatives like this to also help with
list-building.

For example, if you build simple initiative sites that are little more than
a couple pages that drive contact information conversions, you can identify
some "warm leads" ripe for our contact. If we find someone on 3 or more
lists built from simple libertarian issue websites, it's probably a fair
assertion that they align with libertarians on more than those 3 issues. If
they've never been approached by the LP or are LP-curious, a contact from
the Party could spark them to join or support the Party beyond those three
issues. Even someone who agrees with us on ONE issue might be supportive
enough to become a supporter financially or curious enough to learn more
about the Party.

We've talked about declining membership on this list (on which I've made my
thoughts known already), but a few simple splash-page fronted, couple page
websites that focus on contact information conversion could give the Party
some "warm leads" to augment the LP.org Information Request system
currently in place.

I hope this is useful.
