[Lnc-business] Beck and Savage LEAVE the GOP

I don't listen to Michael Savage.
I do listen to Glenn Beck, and I have never heard him mention the
"Conservative Party" on the air.
The Conservative Party was not claiming that either host joined the
Conservative Party. If you don't believe me, re-read the original e-mail,
below.
The Conservative Party is just emphasizing that the two nationally
syndicated radio hosts left the GOP, and neither of the hosts were willing
to announce that they were joining the Libertarian Party or the Constitution
Party.
That is not Mr. Beck's or Dr. Savage's fault: that is entirely the fault of
the Libertarian Party.
I would love to see our leadership extend welcome mats to any radio
personality who expresses an interest in libertarianism or the Libertarian
Party.
It is sad that some of the leaders of the LP think that the best way to
elect Libertarians to public office is to piss off
any non-anarchists who dare to express even a casual interest in
libertarianism or the Libertarian Party.

Glenn Beck moving to the conservative party, which obviously does not have
presidential ballot access, seems like a clear ploy to recruit those who
want to cut government, and then duping them into "holding their nose and
voting" for Bush/Romney etc.

"Dear Members and friends:
In case you were spending all your time looking for Hillary's email server,
you might have missed the news that Glenn Beck and Michael Savage have
finally come to their collective senses and announced they have decamped
from the Republican Party.
God, just like the Wheels of Justice, moves in slow and mysterious ways.
Just look at evolution. But move He does.
What Savage & Beck didn't say was even more important that what they did
say. These true conservatives didn't say they were joining the Constitution
Party or the Libertarian Party. That's significant because these
organizations have been active for more than 30 years. Both of them mused
about creating another party, however.
A CALL TO ACTION: CP-USA members, it's time for you to inform these
gentlemen about the Conservative Party. Write them. Email them. Tweet them.
Post on their Facebook pages and websites. Call their shows. Tell them why
they should join the Conservative Party. Tell them NOT to form another
Party.
That's your job for the next two weeks. Who knows, Sarah Palin, Mark Levin
and Rush Limbaugh might be next.
