I'm not voting yet, but it seems to me that we, in some sense, took on this
responsibility when we decided to change our logo. We can't logically
adopt a logo and not update our materials, nor can we ask those materials
to magically update themselves.
The remaining question, then, is whether we should do it now, or first run
out of materials and then do it. Either way, we'll be paying. A related
question is - can we buy new materials and not throw away what we have on
hand, and live with the fact that not everything will be perfectly branded?
In my mind, I see a rather strong argument that it is penny-wise,
pound-foolish to not maintain consistent branding, and so I find this
rather unobjectionable, given what we've already decided to do.
