[Lnc-business] Binder Materials Reminder

This is an updated reprise of an e-mail that I sent to this list on July 29, 2015:

To make the electronic version of the binder easier to use, I suggest not
sending the files out via e-mail.
Instead, post them somewhere on the LP web site. Post the original version
the Tuesday before the LNC Session, and then post each update.
Make it really clear which documents belong to the original posting, and which documents belong to which update. Just e-mail us the link to the original list of Documents, and the link to the two updates.
Eg:
LNC Meeting Documents - November 10, 2015 (Tuesday)
LNC Meeting Documents - update 1 - November 12, 2015 (Thursday)
LNC Meeting Documents – update 2 - November 17, 2015 (Tuesday)
The updates would only include files that were not posted earlier.
PDF files would be nice, but DOC is OK if DOC files are easier to post. If it is easier to post each document as a separate link, that is fine – the main idea is to associate each document with one of the three listings above to make it easy for LNC members to keep track of what they have already read.
By posting at least some of the documents the Tues before the LNC Session,
and then posting one update before and one update after the LNC Session, you give LNC members 3 days to read
most of the documents before the LNC Session.
If staff does the above, it probably makes more sense to not clutter up the lnc-business list with any reports, but to instead just send them to the Secretary and Robert. (1)

1. I am just suggesting a cc list for the reports. Obviously the ED has the final word on who exactly should get the original files.

All,
Please have your “binder materials” to us by no later than 9 am EST Mon 11/09 so we can get them on the web and print the most important stuff for your folders. I will have folders available for pick up Fri 11/13 around 5 pm in the lobby prior to the walk-thru of the convention space which will begin in the lobby at 6 pm. If you need a complete hard copy of the binder please let us know by Mon as well. We will always have at least one for the secretary, chair and an additional extra copy to share.
