I am forwarding a response to my request for affiliate news from the Wyoming LP. Please note the date and venue for the annual convention. Perhaps the Secretary can sneak this into the Region 1 report for the last meeting.

Libertarian Party and Like minded people,
This is the year we, The Libertarian Party, have the opportunity to make a difference in Wyoming. I, Lawrence Struempf, as the chairmen for the Libertarian Party, am working to get more quality Libertarian candidates into office at local, state, and federal offices. In order to do this, I need your help. We need to get organized and be professional.
Our annual party/convention will be held in Casper on Saturday April 2 at the Holiday Inn. It will be at 4 pm at (The Holiday Inn Restaurant/Bar) 721 Granite Peak Drive. We need to come together to make this happen. I hope to have a large turnout and lots of volunteers to run for local and state offices.
Remember, no one is going to vote for someone that is extreme or fanatical. As all political parties and elected officials, we need to work within the system that has worked so well and made our country so great. We need to understand and respect the constitution and those who have fought to keep America free.
The Libertarian Party of Wyoming is about less government and more freedoms. We are not about no government. We are about less federal governance and more state governance, bring more of the control back to Wyoming. We need to and must restructure all of our websites and documents to this effect if we are ever going to be a serious party in the United States.
It is important for our party to understand that Americans are tired of Super Wealth Politicians, Dynasties, Nut-Jobs, fanatical extremist, and uneducated people running our country for their own gain. People who do not truly understand the economical impacts and legal bindings of votes and contracts should not be making them. We need to be the smart party, the party of the working class. We are America. We are Wyoming. https://www.facebook.com/WyomingLP/
About me, Lawrence Struempf, I grew up on a cattle ranch in Fremont County. I paid my way through college doing construction and driving semis. I have been a teacher for the last 14 years and am a single father of two. I am very active in the community, in an effort to make the world a better place, from a bottom up perspective.
Sincerely,
Lawrence Struempf

Hello All . . .
I am currently preparing my Regional Representative report for the Libertarian National Committee (LNC) meeting to be held on February 19-21, 2016 in Phoenix Arizona. The venue for the meeting will be:
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa
8000 S. Arizona Grand Parkway
Phoenix, AZ 85044
(602) 438-9000 <tel:%28602%29%20438-9000>
http://www.arizonagrandresort.com
a potential site for the 2018 national convention.
I would love to include any news you can provide pertaining to your state in the report.
I also request a response to the following questions which will enable me to better represent you at this meeting:
1> Has the State Affiliate Development Specialist, Andy Burns contacted you?
2> If yes to question 1, could you take a minute and provide your opinion on the value of that contact(s).
3> Have you used any of the resources currently provided at https://www.lp.org/affiliate-resources ?
4> If yes to question 3, could you take a minute and provide your opinion as to the value of these resources?
5> If yes to question 3, what specific items are missing that you believe would be essential additions?
It is likely that at this meeting, the LNC will decide on the dates and venue of the 2018 National Convention. It would be very helpful if you would provide your suggestions as to what are the most important criteria you would like considered in making this decision. For example:
1> Costs
2> Location Preference
3> Venue Type preference (resort, downtown, etc.)
4> Holiday weekend or normal weekend
5> How many days (typically four, I’ve been pushing three)
Any input with regard to this selection process would be greatly appreciated. If provided with a list of potential venues before the meeting, I’ll be sure to forward such list to you all ASAP.
