[Lnc-business] September meeting again

I am not trying to get formal support as per Policy Manual (pages 13-14) at
this point but rather to discuss informally what kind of time frame and
dates members might be amenable to and what kind of agenda might be in
order.

I believe we need to have the goals discussion that did not happen in
Vegas.  I also wish to propose a motion on the Policy Manual amendment for
committee transparency.

I am working with Joshua Katz on the idea of a Candidate Support Committee
as suggested by our Chair in Vegas but he is busy until after August 10.

But those are the items I am thinking.  I believe it is certainly the sense
of the membership I have spoken to that we absolutely should be meeting
prior to November in such an important year.  I am sure there are other
topics which should be addressed, but I find it important to get these
goals discussions in place.
