[Lnc-business] Coordinated Expenditures in support of the Presidential Campaign

Dear All,

The Federal government authorizes a national party committee to expend
a little more than $23MM in coordinated expenditures in support of a
Presidential campaign. State party committees do not have any
coordinated expenditure authorization of their own, but can be
authorized to use a portion of the national party's expenditure cap
and raise and spend funds for coordinated expenditures.

The state party committee needs to be FEC filing, a request for the
authorization has to be made to the national party, authorization has
to be granted up to a particular amount, and the coordinated
expenditures have to be reported to the FEC.

If your state party (or one in your region) is interested in
fundraising and spending large amounts of money in support of the Gary
Johnson campaign, please feel free to contact myself or Mr. Hagan to
go over the specific details.

At this point, I have authorized the Libertarian Party of Indiana to
use up to $150,000 of our coordinated expenditure cap, which only
leaves $23,671,000 left, so don't delay. ;)

Yours in liberty,
Nick
