[Lnc-business] [Lnc-votes] Fwd: FEC and Miller Campaign / LPedia.org (still!)

Consulting Paula about this seems reasonable. If/when we get advice/answers from our FEC consultant, we might want to compile that info somewhere on LP.org, or LPedia.org* for future reference by LNC members or Libertarian camaigns. Including the date the info was obtained of course, in case it becomes outdated. But in at least some cases, creating that repository of institutional knowledge might avoid having to go back and ask our hired consultant the same questions again.

Love & Liberty,

*Easy to forget about that site when it's not being used as it should be, but I presume we're still paying for it, and the clock is reportedly ticking on losing the information already compiled there if we don't get the software updated before it becomes outdated! From a quick glance, nothing there appears to have changed since the last time I looked at it – the main page still says "We hope to get things back in order in 2016." Under "Libertarian Party links" it also lists "http://www.lpstuff.com/shop/ Buy official Libertarian Party products and campaign supplies here". The link is still working, but we don't use LPStuff.com as an official distributor any more, do we? Might be a good idea to redirect that to LPStore.org. I'm copying site admin James Gholston on this message.

When I start thinking..duck. So Bob's email back to me referenced 5k limits for Federal candidates. But if you glance through parts of FEC guides..they get you thinking it applies to everyone. To everyone that hasn't followed everything here, I think(duck) that Lauren was gauging things on what Bob was telling her.
