Still need help getting a generic 15 second TV ad made with the theme
"Vote Libertarian". Would also take a 30 second ad, but first priority
is a 15 second ad. More details below.

I'm looking for somebody who knows about TV political ads to make a 15
second TV commercial to run on TV that will generally promote "voting
Libertarian."
Can you get this to me by next week? : )
If you are likely to work on this, please let me know ASAP (preferably
by tomorrow). I've asked for something like this in the past, and no one
has ever delivered. If you can deliver, you will probably be the only
one. I really do want help. Someone else has agreed to pay to run the
ads. I told that person I probably could not be of any help getting an
ad made, but please help if you can. Others would run the ads locally if
I had something decent to share with them.
Requirements:
You take the risk. I will not sign a contract or agree to payment in
advance. If you create an ad and I like the ad, you might get paid $500
or even more.
The ad needs to be in a format that can be downloaded and run on cable
television. The ad will need to become property of the Libertarian
Party, or else free for anyone to use.
Use of stock imagery and actors for voice overs are okay. Keep it real
simple. Several smiling faces would be great!
I don't have footage or images to share with you for the ad. Find your own.
The length of the ad should be appropriate for a 15 second TV ad. If you
have never created political television ads that have been run on
television, then you are not the right person for this job, but you
might know someone who is.
It cannot show a picture of Gary Johnson or any current candidate for
office (former candidates are okay).
It cannot mention any specific candidate. It cannot mention any website.
It should not mention the date--I'd like to use these next year too.
This should be generic enough that anyone can use it anywhere in the
U.S. provided they download it, send it to the TV station, and get their
own proper disclosure statement added."
You can come up with your own script. But here is a sample script (which
I created in under 5 minutes--feel free to make a better one, but
remember, it's a 15 second TV commercial):
Sample script 1:
Voice 1: I'm fed up with Republicans and Democrats! I'm voting Libertarian.
Voice 2: I'm voting Libertarian.
Voice 3: I'm voting Libertarian.
Voice 4: I'm voting Libertarian.
[You need to leave space for the disclosure statement at the end, that
will be added by the cable operator, and will be along the lines of
"Political ad paid for by the Libertarian Party of ___ County."
Sample script 2:
Voice 1: "It's time for a change! I'm voting Libertarian.
Voice 2: I'm voting Libertarian.
Voice 3: I'm voting Libertarian.
Voice 4: I'm voting Libertarian.
If I like your ad, I may ask you to make a 30 second version as well,
and something for radio. But please, keep in mind, I have no use for a
90 second youtube ad, or something that is not for actual television.
If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please email me at
wes.benedict at lp.org.
Did I mention I'd like something this week? Is next week possible?
Thanks,
