I'm running behind on emails at the moment, but as you're ironing out
contract details for the February LNC meeting, this tidbit might be
helpful.  We had previously cut the Arizona Grand from the 2018 short list
primarily because their food prices were quite high.  Given that a
non-trivial percentage of convention costs come from F&B, that's a big
deal.  We let them back in the running because they agreed that for the
convention they will give us a substantial discount on F&B.  If the
contract for the LNC meeting includes a F&B minimum, we might not get as
much as usual for our money unless we get them to discount food rates for
this meeting also.
