Wes, as mentioned to Paul,  I still have my van packed and ready to go, and just waiting on available schedule and weather.
I will advise Tuttle to just meander back to SD and finish that up.
I may have another person with me,  depending on his schedule,  but I would be paying him myself so no concern with LNC.
I am really not sure how well my collections will run in Oklahoma.   In ND I do well, but mostly because I know the easy spots to hit,  which are usually apartment buildings with large numbers of young people in them who would sign anything you put in front of them just to get you away.
So,  I may do well, or it could be very dismal.  We shall see.
I will drive my van there which also gives me the option of sleeping in the back (weather permitting) and just staying at a hotel when I need a break.

Roland, below you mentioned Charles Tuttle. I don't know if he ever showed up in Tulsa or not. I have not seen signatures attributed to him show up on our list of payees. Do you know? I may call him in a couple days, but I also just wanted to make sure to get this note to you in writing now.

I want it to be clear that the deadline for signature collection paid for by the LNC and LP Oklahoma is January 17. That applies to Charles Tuttle as well. (There may be an exception for some people with advanced permission to continue at $1.50 per signature for a short time after January 17, but that requires permission on a case-by-case basis.)

Of course, I would still greatly appreciate having a larger buffer of extra signatures in case we have validity issues, so if you personally still go to Oklahoma and collect 1,000 signatures, or whatever you can, that would be a great help.

Thank you for what you can do.

   Wes,
Well last night I had my van packed and ready to travel to Tulsa for a week but looking over the weather situation for the next week at the last minute decided I did not want to spend a day plugging along on ice slick roads at 20 mph to get there.  So, I put it off for later in month.   I did talk to Charles Tuttle, and he will probably be starting in Tulsa tomorrow.   If,  by chance I do not make it later,  I have paid Tuttle a $1,000 advance against Ok signatures,  and will have him credit that amount against his signature collection.
So,  where do we stand in numbers in OK now?
