Hi Guys,  I have been out beating the bushes for signatures in Ok this weekend.  Oh, what a pain.   Had a bright idea of how we might be able to organize this better in the future.  Why not just pass out a post card petition for one signature at a time.  The post card would have the petition information and a place for a signature, etc., on the front side.  On the back side it would be addressed to the state chapter with a postage paid on delivery stamp.   So, we could just pass these out by the millions, any maybe even mail them out or email them out.   We of course would probably have to work with the state SOS to get approval for a postcard petition,  but I think it would work and would be a lot more cost effective then our current system.  It would also have about a 99.9% validity rate.  Anyway, we need to come up with a more efficient and cheaper way of doing this.
For example, in Ok the voter registration list includes those who claim to be independent.  We could set these up as a mailing list and just mail cards to every independent in Ok.   Sure, only may get one out of a hundred response, but with such a large base it still may be quicker and cheaper then current system.
