Hi Roland,
Thanks for your very generous offer to include the Libertarian National
Committee in your estate planning. This may come in handy when Bill
Redpath is planning our year 2040 ballot access efforts.
I don't initially see problems with the way you've described your
preference for things to be handled, but I'm asking the Libertarian
National Committee's Employment Policy and Compensation Committee to
analyze the details fully, and to get back to you once their analysis
and recommendations are complete.
Although it's very generous of you to consider staff bonuses in your
will, and May 15 would certainly be known as Roland Riemers day at the
office, it would not surprise me if the LNC EPCC ended up advising you
not to mention staff bonuses in your will.
You don't need to wait for the LNC EPCC if you want to get your estate
documentation taken care of right away. Just put things the way you'd
like to see them, with or without mentioning staff bonuses.
Details for naming the party in your will:
Beneficiary: Libertarian National Committee, Inc.
Address: 1444 Duke St., Alexandria, VA 22314
Tax id: 52-1170810
Thanks, and don't hesitate to contact me or Robert Kraus if we can be of
additional service.
