Unless I am using the wrong address, the hotel is only 7 miles from the
Airport?

According to this Uber cost estimator site (
http://uberestimate.com/costs.php) it should be $8 - $11 for an Uber ride
from the Airport to the Hotel.  Google Maps says it will take 12 minutes.
