“Party of Principle” is excellent but I prefer something more specific:
“Freedom: Nothing More - Nothing Less”

If the LNC is to direct an official party slogan, it should be added to the Policy Manual so it won't get lost. Probably in Section 2.06, Party Communications.

Party of Principle is noted in many non-LP sources as the official party slogan - anyone know if and where this is noted officially?
Losing it from the site masthead without express warrant from the LNC is - to me - beyond a subcommittee decision.
I like what you did with that Wes

I'm eager to work with whatever slogan the LNC adopts. I like "Party of Principle." We can easily add it places similar to this image show below and attached.
Below is an image from the top of the old website. It contains both "The Party of Principle" and "Minimum Government-Maximum Freedom."
I believe it was in 2010 that the LNC adopted "Minimum Government - Maximum Freedom" which was championed by David Nolan. If anything, I think to be in strict compliance with old LNC directives, we probably would be required to have "Minimum Government - Maximum Freedom" and not "The Party of Principle". But I'm not certain on that. The LNC takes occasional votes or makes directives on things over time that may have overturned that old directive (which I think was from the LNC, but it's possible it was just a directive from the chair.

I am not copying Kevin on this as this is an internal LNC thing, but Chuck Moulton wrote this earlier:
==I worry that some people are using this website transition to forward an agenda -- whether that be removing content, re-branding the party, moderating the LP's messaging, or whatever. Those changes should be LNC level decisions. In the chaos of the website transition, perhaps some people are hoping no one will notice... and even if they do, it will be unclear who made the decisions and who can be held accountable. Was it Kevin Ludlow? Wes Benedict? Nick Sarwark? Someone else?
I strongly urge the LNC to pay attention to what's going on and not abdicate their responsibilities as stewards of the Libertarian Party assets and strategy on behalf of the membership.==
I intend upon bringing this up officially soon and may request it be on the December agenda. Ditching our slogan in our masthead - who made that decision? I believe that goes beyond the authority of a committee and to heart of our messaging. Yes, "Party of Principle" is in the About Page. But it is not front and center in our masthead.
