I apologize for the missing phrase, I am not feeling well today.
If it focused more on sheer mechanics and laid out the non-negotiable fact
that any messaging must be within the Statement of Principles (as per our
Bylaws - we exist to implement and give voice ot the Statement of
Principles - for which I see no mention or concern here), I would support.
As worded now, I would oppose. Strongly.
We are not a mere producer asking, for instance, what food we should sell,
as if hamburgers or hotdogs are both equally acceptable. We are an
ideological party by design with a specific product that is set (by a 7/8
requirement). We can certainly sell that product better-and that is always
true. But the product is non-negotiable, and I will not support anything
that does not make that absolutely clear. If this proposal steered way
clear of ideology and really focused on expertise of mechanics, it would be
worthwhile in my eyes. For ideological messaging advice. I want
Libertarians - perhaps working with marketing experts - but with definite
Libertarian oversight. I repeat, I will not vote for anything that gives
even a remote hint that it will be telling Libertarians that they need to
be less Libertarian. Absolutely not.
