Please note with the Chair’s approval we have RFP’s currently for the following cities:
Atlanta
Charlotte
DC (Alexandria)
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
OK City
Pittsburg
We would like to keep the options minimal for April since we know you all want to have a decision sooner rather then later. With the Chair’s help we should be able to make a decision by the end of the month. We are seeing some higher then typical rates for Easter weekend but already have a few excellent proposals in for consideration.
I’ll keep all of your suggestions for Aug Meeting but may wait until early in 2017 to see if the convention committee has some sites they may want us to look at for 2020.

What are the options here?
I know we will need to be meeting in LA to start viewing the convention site and I think that a good idea. If not LA, I would like to propose Denver. This is another area we have not been at in 8 years and has an excellent airport with wonderful art and Blucifer. I could get local party people to assist Robert in meeting space planning and tours of Denver if desired - or possibly even some other outing.
