Just wanted to give an update for KC meeting weekend 08/19-20.

 

The location will be:

 

Holiday Inn KCI Expo Center

Kansas City, MO 64153

The rate will be $110 a night ($10 per additional person extra) & this includes free wifi in both sleeping & meeting rooms. Additionally they are provided free hot breakfast buffet. Please wait for the link I will send (or discount code) prior to making any reservations. I should have this in one week. AAA rate for this room w-breakfast is $174 so we are getting a very good discount as they are motivated to show us their facilities. They offer a free shuttle from/to KCI & also to Zona Rosa http://www.zonarosa.com/ 

 

The Kansas City MO CVB along with the Expo Center will be sponsoring a walkthrough of the Expo Center at 5 pm Fri 08/18 and after will be hosting a complimentary happy hour for our group.

 

They are holding rooms for us from 08/17 thru 08/22 to accommodate those that want to stay an extra day or two for the eclipse.
