[Lnc-business] Region 3 Representation

Colleagues,

Today, I write you to follow up on a conversation I've been having with the
chairs of Region 3. Some of you may be aware that I'm relocating, and that
relocation will result in my living outside the states of Indiana,
Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.

As such, I have decided that it is best for Region 3 for me to resign my
position as Region 3 Representative. I am not a fan of having someone
outside the region represent its interests. More importantly, I find it
imperative to have engaged and attentive representation for the Region.

As I will be moving outside the region and embarking on a new business
opportunity, I am sure that I will be unable to adequately represent the
region to my standards.

I have previously and privately asked Chairman Sarwark to add time to the
agenda in New Orleans to fill the vacancies that my resignation creates on
the APRC, EPCC, Candidate Support Committee, and Social Media Process
Review Committee.
