I would substitute "strongly" for "wholeheartedly" but since both words
fail the emotional test (not a valid test from my perspective because
effective arguments connect at the emotional level first before moving on
to the objective level) which would suggest that neither should be used.
However, in the interest of showing support for the two dissents in
question before they die of old age or we conclude this hair-splitting
semantics delaying tactic argument, whichever comes first, I will
co-sponsor Whitney's otherwise excellent wording of this motion.
These debates are certainly (yes, emotional) enlightening but I am
concerned (again, emotional) that we will all die of old age before we
reach a consensus on important issues before it is too (emotional) late and
they become moot points.
Perhaps we should focus instead on inspiring and empowering individual
grassroots Libertarians to go out and get stuff done without getting stuck
in the quicksand of institutional authoritarian consensus and bureaucratic
inertia.
Thoughts?
