[Lnc-business] Email Ballot 2017-10: Donation to the Mark Wicks campaign

Mr. Katz, I agree that how a candidate disagrees with our platform is
important. From my perspective, Nick and Caryn Ann are good judges of
platform consistency and I have not heard any show-stoppers about Mr. Wicks
from anyone.

No candidate vetting system is perfect. At some point you have to make an
educated decision and go with it. With an open mind, I have made my
decision and voted Yes. Simply voting No whenever in doubt does not work
for me. Politics, like life, is risky, but it sure beats the alternative
and requires taking calculated risks.

That being said, I will be interested to hear about ways to improve our
candidate vetting process.

Thoughts?
