[Lnc-business] CredComm applications to be handled like the others

Alicia,

	Some applicants may want their applications to be shared on the list so that more people have the opportunity to contact them! For those who don't want to share their contact info publicly unless/until they actually get on the committee, will you post the information in the applications to the list minus the contact info?

	As a point of order, I think it is improper for you to withhold information from LNC members that we need to make an informed decision unless we agree to secrecy, simply because you prefer secrecy. If an individual applicant requests his or her contact info be withheld pending the vote that's one thing, but you shouldn't assume that is their preference. I have suggested before that people be clearly given the option of requesting their information be kept confidential when they apply for positions or respond to a survey, but you have been unwilling to do this.
