Caryn Ann,
I think we are still at a projected 31k deficit if I am reading this right on my phone. Remember though.. Think if Sailors didn’t go out drinking and instead spent their money with equal zeal on worthwhile endeavors. We increased the budget a few times.
Just throwing it out there that we have about $85-90k in revenue that we have brought in already for the 2018 Convention. That is about double where we were at this same time out for 2016. For stuff that isn’t a pass through paying for food for packages we are over $50k with $82,000 being our estimated break even number.
That said the opera is not over. We have a house party/ fund raiser in NOLA on Friday. I’m not expecting our success like we had in Kansas City but I think we will definitely raise into 5 figures. How far is what remains to be seen. Ya just never know what might happen.
Daniel
