Resolution regarding the Vice Chair of the Libertarian National Committee

 

Whereas,

              Arvin Vohra, Vice Chair of the Libertarian National Committee,
has at various times insulted and disrespected significant segments of the
membership of the Libertarian Party, and

 

Whereas,

              Arvin Vohra has been made aware that his public remarks have
offended and disrespected significant segments of the membership of the
Libertarian Party, and

 

Whereas, 

              Arvin Vohra has expressed no desire to publicly communicate in
any way differently than he has been,

 

Therefore be it resolved,

              that the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin Executive Committee
hereby requests of the Region 6 Representative to the Libertarian National
Committee, and likewise to the LNC as a whole and its several members, to
suspend Arvin Vohra as Vice Chair of the LNC, per the Bylaws of the
Libertarian Party Article 6, Section 7. The LPWI Executive Committee,
pursuant to our request, petitions the Chair of the Libertarian National
Committee to call a meeting of the LNC to occur no later than February 15th,
2018, for the purpose of considering a motion to suspend Mr. Vohra.
