Come on. Saying a practice is ridiculous is not rude. It is, in fact,
ridiculous. Constant scolding isn't particular helpful either. Consider
me scolded for the rest of the term to save you the trouble. I am not
going to be perterbed by overly sensitive reactions to saying a process is
ridiculous.

I agree we need a better handle on the big picture. From my read,
monthly meetings or rude emails calling each other ridiculous won't
achieve that and in fact would hinder the staff empowerment and
strategic prioritization that need to happen to get there.

On the voting thing - I do think it is supported by our platform and
HAS been a priority but all of our priorities are scattergun and
diluted. We need to focus. We are practicing political homeopathy.
It doesn't work any better in politics than it does in medicine.

some vague language about representation but nothing specifically
suggesting any of those aforementioned reforms. I'd appreciate people's
feedback on whether there is an LP consensus on this and it's just
never been reflected in the Platform, or not. If there is no existing
consensus, the first step might have to be working to build it within
the Party, a task I'd be eager to help with, before we start focusing
the LNC on acting on it.
