To clean up the email ballot provision to clear up an ambiguity and
have it conform to current practice and while we are doing it to
switch to non-gendered language. If anyone is going to say it is then
not grammatically correct, I big to differ in that their has been
acceptable in this context - but I would be amenable to "Any LNC
members may change their votes" as well.
Section 1.04 ELECTRONIC MAIL BALLOT PROCEDURES
1) Electronic Mail Ballots
[DEL: Electronic mail ballots shall not
include an accompanying argument for or against passage of the motion.:DEL]
Notification of an electronic mail ballot shall be made by the
Secretary by electronic mail. [ADD: The notification may not contain
an argument for or against passage. :ADD] An LNC Member may change
[DEL: his or her vote :DEL] [ADD: their :ADD] on an electronic mail
ballot, provided that the change is received by the Secretary by the
deadline for return of ballots.
