[Lnc-business] 2018 fundraising compared to historical numbers

Hi all,

Last month's revenue was exceptionally strong at $169k.

Here's an update on our fundraising for the year compared to historical 
numbers:

January through August 2018 revenue: $1,267,077

(This includes 2018 convention revenue, including the 2018 convention 
revenue that was received in 2017. This does not include the bequest 
payments we received in January.)

The previous 10-year average for this same time frame, and with these 
same parameters: $1,042,773 ----> 2018 revenue is 22% above that

The previous even-numbered year (2016, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2008) average 
for this same time frame, and with these same parameters: $1,262,945 
---> 2018 revenue is 0% above that

If one considers 2016 to be an outlier, and thus excludes it from the 
even-numbered year average: $1,060,456 ---> 2018 revenue is 19% above that

(These numbers include bequests at the time they are received, not when 
we receive annual payments, and include convention revenues in the month 
in which the convention was held.)
