[Lnc-business] Caryn Ann Harlos fundraising and membership recruitment

My largest "issues" with this are as as follows:
I do not believe we should be reimbursing regional reps for attending
conventions in their own region to recruit. I believe that is part of
the job , we all signed up for that when we ran. It was not clear to me
from Caryn Ann's report that some of the conventions she was speaking
about were in her own region. I should have asked for clarification and
will remedy that moving forward.
I would like see a CLEAR system in place for interested volunteers to
act as recruiters BEFORE we as a committee move forward with this
program.
That having been said, Caryn Ann is a fantastic recruiter, her work IS
valuable to the party and a commitment was made to reimburse her and she
should now be reimbursed.
