I forgot to include the inspiration initiatives surrounding the space industry. I guarantee that the stunning achievement by Elon Musk of landing two reusable rocket engines simultaneously on TV produced a spike of interest in those voting Libertarian. Inspirational bottom-up technology and privatization achievements will do more to expose Libertarian principles and drive the election of Libertarians. During an LNC sponsored Jess Meers interview of Jim Cantrell, another private space entrepreneur, Cantrell encouraged the LP to adopt a stronger privatized space program platform plank as something the LP could do to accelerate the privatization movement.

I don't care when we create the committee, other than the sooner the better without stepping on established time constraints.

I take a big picture view of the need to promote block-chain technology, specifically crypto currencies, for the valid reasons already expressed. Block-chain is part of the bigger picture of peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies that has produced huge successes that I believe are the primary inspiration behind the increasing percentage of those who vote for Libertarian candidates. Further, P2P technology firms are part of a larger group of critical privatized industries that include cash-basis healthcare, cash-basis education (including homeschooling), cash-basis security firms, and cash-basis arbitration organizations, just to name a few.

That being said, block-chain and P2P industries are the clear the leaders in the privatization movement and the obvious place to start to create such a committee, regardless of when the committee is created.

One reason though I asked these questions David is the following Policy Manual provision (page 16, http://www.lp.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/20180115_LNC_Policy_Manual.pdf
):

2) Committee Terms of Office With the exception of the Convention Oversight Committee, the terms of office of all project managers, committee chairs, and committee members shall expire with the administration that appoints them, or when their successors are chosen, whichever occurs first. The term of office for the Convention Oversight Committee shall expire 90 days following the close of the convention.

So I actually think that we *can't* really consider this next meeting unless it is just a 2-month committee.
