To answer your question directly, actual aggressive violence is clearly different than speech, so I suspect my response would be quite different in the case of the hypothetical you raise.

As I said when this latest controversy broke, I think we would have done better to take the matter of a member's personal post in a non-party forum up as individuals rather than as an official party matter.
The double standard continues to trouble me (not Caryn Ann's, but the one we exhibited in regard toward candidates saying what her friend references, compared with how this body has reacted to Arvin Vohra's speech):
