[Lnc-business] Proposed motion for candidate funding

My reading is that the issue was not "localization of education" (a step in the right direction in my book too), but rather the phrase "The federal government should allow each state to allocate all of the money that will be spent on education".
I saw that language, but did not include it in my list of concerns because I assume that by "all of the money that will be spent on education", Princeton is talking about funds which government is already spending, and that he is not advocating that ALL education spending (including money spent by individuals, families, etc.) go through government (or that spending authority be transferred from local school boards to state governments), but merely that FEDERAL government spending on education should devolve to the state level. I suspect Arvin may have been misled by the clumsy wording of the passage.

I imagine that a discussion with his campaign could probably clear that up. Here's one that I consider problematic:

Some of the issue statements could be improved with additional detail (e.g. the "Privacy and Security" topic focuses mostly on the "USA Patriot Act" and doesn't mention NSA surveillance or the 4th Amendment) and editing, but I didn't notice anything of concern from a libertarian standpoint.

With current budget constraints the CSC felt that the $500 we approved was the best we could do at this time to encourage others to emulate the effort and professionalism of Mr. Bowden's and Mr. Princeton's campaigns.
